PRESENTATION

Fecoval consists of companies within the Autonomous Community of Valencia who are contractors for regional government projects, and also incorporates the specialized provincial associations  COALACOVALAPPECAVEMCOP, FOPA, FECIA and ARIVAL.

The Federation was established in 1983 as a strictly business and professional entity. Today, Fecoval is the only independent, territorial Federation in the sector, which has been characterized since its inception by a pioneering and enterprising spirit, as well as by its commitment to defending the rights of Valencian companies.

ORIGINS

Companies in our community saw the need to convince the public administrations of their ability to qualify for major infrastructure projects. So Fecoval was born, a federation created to defend and promote the interests of those companies that were already accumulating extensive experience working for municipal governments, councils and other public bodies in the region.

HISTORY

The first president of the Federation was Máximo Caturla Camino, who was succeeded by Jose María Jiménez de la Iglesia, Rafael Ferrando Giner, Juan Cámara Gil, Francisco Javier Luján Morant, Eduardo Beut González and the current president, José Luis Santa Isabel.

Currently, the Board consists of the main companies of the Valencian Community and the key associations of the sector. Furthermore, Fecoval is a direct member of CIERVAL and the CNC, whose governing bodies participate directly.
